NEWS: Argentina defender Gabriel Heinze is determined to get revenge for his country’s defeat at the hands of Brazil in the final of the last Copa America three years ago.
The Samba Stars won on penalties in Peru in 2004 — a result Heinze describes as “a wound that’s never going to close”.
The 29-year-old told Sky magazine: “We deserved to win, so to lose on penalties really hurts.
“All we can do is hope we go one step further this time. We have to go all out to win — it’s in our nature.”
The Manchester United hardman told spectators not to expect a tournament similar to the World Cup or European Championships.
“It’s different,” he said. “Most of the Copa America teams face each other regularly in World Cup qualifiers.
“This familiarity breeds strong rivalries. It’s like playing a lot of derbies and gives this tournament and element you don’t get in others.”

I echoed HEINZE’s word. Argentina is bringing probably one of the most strongest squad to the Copa America in recent years. So winning it is the most realistic target.
But still we all know what happen in the last Copa. Brazil were playing mostly with second rated players and they WON!!! Things like can happen in football
